Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to GoFlamingo. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

GoFlamingo provides a platform for users to request instant delivery quotes and submit orders for local deliveries across the Greater Vancouver area. Submitted orders are reviewed by an administrator before approval. No payment is required at the time of submission.

3. Order Requests and Approval

By submitting a delivery request, you make an offer to purchase delivery services at the quoted price. This does not create a binding contract. Each order is reviewed for accuracy, availability, and feasibility. GoFlamingo reserves the right to approve or reject any order at its discretion. You will be notified of the decision using the contact details provided in your request.

4. Quotes and Pricing

Quotes generated by our system are estimates based on a configurable formula that includes factors such as distance, handling, and delivery speed. While we aim to provide accurate estimates, final confirmation occurs only after administrative review. Any additional costs or adjustments will be communicated prior to approval.

5. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide complete and accurate information, including names, addresses, and contact details.
  • Ensure that items for delivery are properly packaged and secured.
  • Confirm that all items comply with applicable laws and do not appear on our list of prohibited items.
  • Use the Service in compliance with these Terms and all applicable regulations.

Prohibited Items

For safety and legal reasons, GoFlamingo does not accept or transport the following items:

  1. Illegal or controlled substances, including drugs or narcotics.
  2. Hazardous, flammable, or explosive materials such as gasoline, propane, or fireworks.
  3. Weapons, ammunition, or weapon components.
  4. Perishable food items requiring temperature control, unless pre-approved and properly packaged.
  5. Live animals, insects, or plants.
  6. Cash, negotiable instruments, or untraceable valuables.
  7. High-value or irreplaceable items such as jewelry, artwork, antiques, or identification documents.
  8. Human remains, biological materials, or medical specimens.

GoFlamingo reserves the right to refuse or cancel any delivery request that includes unsafe, illegal, or restricted items.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” GoFlamingo does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoFlamingo and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount charged for the specific delivery in question.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update or modify these Terms at any time. When significant changes are made, we will post the revised Terms on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after such changes means you accept the updated Terms.
